Exceptional EducationSancta Familia Academy accepts students with special needs based on our available openings and the needs of the student. Students who can be mainstreamed into the regular classroom follow our regular school schedule. Students requiring an individualized program with more one-on-one attention attend a five day a week program specially tailored to their needs.
Students with a matrix of 251 or 252 will be considered for admission into one of our regular classrooms, which always have a low student-teacher ratio. Students with a matrix of 252 or 253 may be able to participate in an inclusion program, combining individually paced coursework with classroom instruction.

A unique individualized, self-paced curriculum needs to be developed for students with a matrix of 254 or 255. These students benefit from social interaction with others during lunch and recess time, as well as scheduled participation in planned activities and classes, but they also require one-on-one instruction during most of their school hours. Due to the individualized nature of their program of instruction, and the availability of tutors and therapists, applicants are considered for admission on a very limited basis.
